Course on “Electromagnetic, acoustic, and thermal invisibility” at Roma Tre, Italy
The IEEE AP/ED/MTT North Italy Chapter is pleased to announce that the preliminary program of the new School Event on the topic “Electromagnetic, acoustic, and thermal invisibility” to be held at “Roma Tre” University, Rome, Italy on 4-8 May 2015 is now available at this link.
The School, organized by Prof. Filiberto Bilotti, Prof. Andrea Alù, and Prof. Alessandro Toscano, is part of the Distributed School on Metamaterials run by EUPROMETA, the Education Department of the METAMORPHOSE VI AISBL. Call for Nominations: IEEE Fellows (Class 2016)
The IEEE AP/ED/MTT North Italy Chapter is pleased to announce that nominations for the IEEE Fellows Class of 2016 are now being accepted by IEEE. Nomination of a colleague, coworker, or friend whose career and body of work you consider eligible for elevation to the IEEE Fellow grade is strongly encouraged. The applications must be submitted online.
Deadline: 1 March 2015.

Call for Papers: Special Issue in IEEE Transactions on Microwaves Theory and Techniques
The IEEE AP/ED/MTT North Italy Chapter is pleased to announce the IEEE T-MTT Special Issue on “Filters and Multiplexers for Emerging Wireless Applications”. The aim of the Special Issue is to provide insights into new design techniques and technologies for filters directed at emerging wireless applications.
Submission due date is March 1, 2015. This special issue will be published in September, 2015. Guest Editors: Prof. Vicente E. Boria, Prof. Giuseppe Macchiarella, and Dr. Ming Yu. Click the Call for Papers for more details.
